Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms

​

These terms explain how The Job Academy Interview Guarantee works. They apply in addition to your Coaching Agreement and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Overview of the guarantee

a) The guarantee covers one job interview. It does not cover job offers or employment outcomes.
b) The guarantee activates once you complete the program in full and meet all required actions in section 3.
c) The guarantee window is eight weeks starting on the date The Job Academy confirms in writing that you have completed the program requirements.

3. Eligibility and required actions

You qualify for the guarantee only if you complete all of the following.

  1. Program completion
    Attend and complete every scheduled coaching session and module. Any missed session must be rescheduled and completed within the program timeline.

  2. Application materials
    Prepare your resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile exactly as instructed, using The Job Academy formats, templates, and feedback. Implement required revisions before use.

  3. Job search activity
    Apply agreed minimum number of suitable roles each week using The Job Academy systems and processes.

  4. Networking and outreach
    Complete all required outreach and follow ups using The Job Academy systems and processes. At minimum, contact the agreed number of hiring managers or recruiters each week and record outcomes.

  5. Records and proof
    Maintain accurate logs of applications, outreach, interviews, and results in the tracker provided. Keep and supply evidence when requested, including emails and screenshots.

  6. Communication
    Respond to your coach within two business days and raise concerns promptly so your plan can be adjusted.

  7. Employability disclosures
    Disclose truthfully your work rights, visa status, location limits, and any material restriction. Notify The Job Academy immediately if something changes.

4. What The Job Academy will do

a) Deliver the coaching program, tools, and templates described at purchase.
b) Review and provide feedback on application materials and outreach messages.
c) Recommend target roles and search strategies aligned with your skills and work rights.

5. The guarantee outcome and remedy

a) If you meet section 3 and do not receive at least one interview within eight weeks after program completion, The Job Academy will continue coaching you at no additional cost until you receive one interview.
b) Continued coaching may include further document reviews, strategy adjustments, mock interviews, and accountability. It does not include third party costs such as application fees, assessments, or travel.

6. Exclusions and when the guarantee does not apply

The guarantee does not apply if any of the following occur.

a) You do not complete the program or you substitute other methods instead of The Job Academy system.
b) You decline an interview, fail to attend an interview, or do not respond to employer communications.
c) You provide inaccurate or incomplete information about skills, experience, work rights, or location.
d) You impose new limits on salary, hours, industry, or location that were not agreed at onboarding and that materially reduce suitable opportunities.
e) External events beyond the control of The Job Academy that materially reduce opportunities for your role type, including broad hiring freezes or changes to law that affect your work rights.

7. Service rules

a) No shows and rescheduling
You may reschedule up to two sessions per service with at least 24 hours notice. A no show counts toward this limit. 

b) Pausing services
You may request one pause of up to one month with written notice. Upon resume, you must schedule remaining sessions within three business days.

c) Time limits and responsiveness
If onboarding is not scheduled within two weeks of purchase or you become unresponsive for more than seven days during delivery, services may be paused. Re activation may require a revised plan and timing by agreement.

8. Fees and refunds

a) Fees are payable as agreed at purchase.
b) Fees are non refundable.
c) The guarantee remedy is continued coaching at no additional cost until one interview is achieved.

9. Intellectual property

Program content, templates, and tools are the property of The Job Academy. You must not share, publish, sell, or sub licence these materials without written permission.

10. Privacy and confidentiality

The Job Academy handles personal information in line with its Privacy Policy. Sessions may be recorded for quality, coaching and marketing purposes.

11. Limitation of liability

The Job Academy excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.​

12. Changes to these terms

The Job Academy may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply prospectively and will be notified on the website. The version in place at the time of purchase applies to that purchase unless you agree in writing to adopt a later version.
