Job searching without a routine?

That’s a fast track to burnout.
I’ve seen it too many times:
Wake up anxious.
Open job boards.
Apply to 20 roles.
Scroll LinkedIn.
Feel behind.
Repeat.
The problem isn’t effort.
It’s structure.
Here’s what I recommend:
1. Time block your job search
2–3 focused hours per day.
No distractions.
No doom scrolling.
2. Schedule rejuvenation like it’s work
→ 20 mins of movement ( any kind of exercise)
→ 30 mins doing something that brings you joy
→ 1 real conversation with someone who lifts you up
3. Protect your shutdown time
At 6PM, stop. (decide your own time according to your schedule)
Close your laptop.
Say: “That’s enough for today.”
This isn’t laziness.
It’s leverage.

Because consistency > intensity.
And burnout helps no one.
The job will come.
But your life doesn’t need to be on pause until it does.
